Colby & Rachel's Visit - May 2003

Canberra - Australian Capital Territory.

On our return from New South Wales and Queensland, we stopped in Canberra, the capital city of Australia, located in the Australian Capital Territory.(A.C.T.)

The A.C.T. is to Australia, what Washington D.C. is to America

Any time I visit Canberra, I visit the Australian War Memorial.

The latest display at the Australian War memorial was titled "War without boundaries" and referred to the war on terrorism, including Afghanistan and Iraq. Australia has taken part in these actions. The glass display case holds the uniform of an Australian SAS solider (Special Forces) as worn in Afghanistan.

A day I believe has some meaning to Americans..
